Some wedding days just have that magic—the kind that blends romance, style, and heartfelt moments into an unforgettable celebration. On August 10, 2024, we had the honor of capturing a stunning wedding that perfectly embodied boho elegance. From a timeless Catholic ceremony at the Newman Center to a warm and inviting reception at Roca Berry Farm’s Pioneer Event Barn, every detail was a dream. From getting ready at Roca Berry Farm’s Pioneer Event Barn to a heartfelt Catholic ceremony at the Newman Center, followed by a lively celebration back at the barn, every part of the day was a dream.
A Joyful Start at Pioneer Event Barn
The day began at Roca Berry Farm’s Pioneer Event Barn, where the couple got ready individually, the bride shared a very special moment with each of her parents, and her siblings before she went on to go see her groom for the first time. The couple shared their private first look outside of the reception barn and shared their personal vows. Before heading to the church we were able to utilize the beautiful outdoor light and take immediate family portraits. The barn’s rustic charm and the surrounded warmth of nature provided the perfect backdrop for these intimate moments, with details reflecting a soft, boho aesthetic. The bride looked stunning in her gown from Schoen’s Bridal World, and the florals by Main Street Floral by Clara Price added the perfect touch of natural elegance.
A Timeless Ceremony at the Newman Center
Next, we traveled to the Newman Center, the breathtaking Catholic church on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus, where the couple officially tied the knot. The grandeur of the church, combined with the love and support of their family and friends, made for an emotional and timeless ceremony.
As the couple made their way out of the church, they were met with the cutest bubble exit—seriously, does it get any better than bubbles floating through the air as newlyweds celebrate? The energy was electric as the bridal party hopped on the party bus, ready to continue the celebration.
A Picture-Perfect Stop at Pioneers Park
Before heading back to the reception venue, we made a stop at Pioneers Park for even more bride and groom portraits, along with fun, candid moments with the bridal party. The natural beauty of the park provided the perfect setting for these photos—romantic, relaxed, and full of joy. The photos really speak for themselves!
The Grand Entrance & Boho Reception at Roca
Back at Pioneer Event Barn, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, and the party officially began! Not without someone falling onto the floor during the grand entrance! No worries, no one was harmed in the making! LOL!
The reception space was styled to perfection, with boho-inspired décor featuring earthy tones, pampas grass, and candlelit accents.
Guests enjoyed a delicious meal catered by Creekside Catering and Events, followed by the sweetest treats from Rabbit Hole Bakery, including a cake by Shannon Ostdeik and an array of cupcakes. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making the entire evening feel intimate, stylish, and full of love.
A Celebration to Remember
From getting ready moments to a stunning ceremony, a bubbly grand exit, and a party filled with laughter and dancing, this wedding was the perfect mix of elegance and fun. It was such an honor to capture these memories, and we couldn’t be happier for this sweet couple!
