Let's just say that Lilac Hills is nothing short of enchanted. It's literally every princess's fairy tale if you ask me! If you've never heard of Lilac Hills, it is a Wedding Venue in Louisville, Nebraska, surrounded by natural gardens, large historic trees nestled between farm land. If you book your wedding at Lilac Hills, you will have private access to use their property for your engagement session, which I absolutely love! Unfortunately, this is not open to the public to use as you please, however, it makes your session that much more private and exclusive.
When Colin and Hailey asked if we could do their engagement session at their wedding venue, I said "hell to the yes!!" inside because I knew just how gorgeous the venue was inside and out! Personally, the best time to go is just before sunset to really get that golden light that gives it an enchanted look right out of a fairy tale. Having previously shot there last November, I knew exactly where to go, and found some new locations that were not very scenic in November, that just popped!
If you're on the fence about scheduling a tour with them, I would 10/10 recommend! Chris (the owner) and Winter (his assistant/coordinator) are absolutely fabulous to work with, and will help you make your wedding day dreams become a reality!
