Spring weddings in Nebraska hit different when the couple is completely locked in on each other — and Stephen and Lauren were exactly that.

On April 4, 2026, Andrew and I photographed and filmed their wedding at Seven Willows in Hickman, Nebraska, and it was the kind of day that sets the tone for an entire season. Seven Willows is one of Lincoln's newest wedding venues, and if this wedding is any indication of what that space is capable of, couples need to be paying attention.

The Nebraska wind showed up uninvited, as it does. Stephen didn't flinch. His entire focus stayed on Lauren and on making sure the day felt exactly right for her. That's the kind of thing you can't manufacture — you just get to witness it and be grateful you had a camera in hand.

There were tears. There was laughter. There were moments where the light hit the venue just right and everything felt completely still. That's what Seven Willows gives you — a backdrop that gets out of the way and lets your wedding breathe.
