Newborn sessions

01 / 29

SO you've began one of life's greatest adventures! Congratulations girl!

Having a newborn can be one of the most exciting things ever! Mama, it is time to capture your upcoming bundle of joy in their tiniest moments. So let's capture these moments because it will all just be a blur, and they sure don't stay little for long. It may not feel like it now, but years from now you'll be so glad you have these tiny moments, trust me, they grow so darn fast! Not to mention years down the road, they'll love looking back at a time where they fit in your hands, and to hear you tell their story of when they were little.

Newborn and in-home lifestyle sessions range from $549-$949, which can include traditional newborn photography where babe is wrapped, unwrapped and naturally posed inside your home. Most posed sessions can last anywhere from 2-3 hours, whereas, in-home-lifestyle sessions are approximately 45 minutes to one hour. We'll also capture the little details too! At the end, there will be time for the whole family together with their littlest and siblings too! Once your gallery is delivered to you via email, you are able to download digital images from your online gallery, which is made available to you for 30 days and you can purchase prints via a la carte. Payment plans are available too, so you don't have to stress about the rest.

so now what?

You're ready to book a newborn session or in-home lifestyle session. Pregnancy brain can bring such a foggy memory, so don't forget to contact me when you are approximately 20 weeks pregnant to book your newborn session to ensure my availability.

After baby is born, I will work with you to solidify the exact date and time of your session. Please call, text or email a day or so after birth so we can schedule our time together. I recommend scheduling your session when your baby is 7-10 days old, no later than 14 days old.

I want to thank you for trusting me with your precious little one or ones! I work with families and babies often, and have a lot of patience during our time together. I have two children myself, and the most important part of your session is your baby’s safety. I am very patient and careful while working with babies, and will never force your baby into a pose that they are resisting certain poses. There are other key factors in a successful session, which is that the parents remain calm and relaxed throughout the session. Babies feed off their parent’s energy, and if anyone is anxious your baby will have a hard time settling down.

Depending on the type of session you've booked with me, if it's a traditional newborn sessions, these sessions can last anywhere between two to three hours. Depending on your baby, the session may be shortened or may run long. I recommend that you do not schedule anything prior to your session or after your session that way your session is not rushed. You really do not need to bring much to your session, other than the obvious, diapers, wipes, a pacifier (if you have one), bottles, extra milk or formula, a change of clothes for baby and for yourself. Because, well you know, accidents happen. I do have extra blankets so do not worry if this happens.
