Summer Engagement Session in Lincoln, Nebraska
It has been a crazy busy summer, between weddings in June, engagement sessions in July and August! Having a summer engagement session is popular amongst those who can stand the heat! Thankfully, we start typically during the evenings to have the most optimal light--golden hour, which is about an hour before sunset. Now, summer may not be the most ideal time for photos because it's usually hot, especially in July and August, but we keep tabs on the weather because well, I don't want you to be a hot mess during your session.
Thankfully, we got lucky at Molly and Kyle's engagement session with 70 degree weather! Nebraska is full of surprises these days. So excited to have my team capturing their wedding day next year in June!
So something that I've been hearing a lot is how effortless we are able to create photos that are not too stiff or too posed. Engagement photos don't just involve posing, but rather prompting. We focus on incorporating movement into your photos, playing together, walking, dance, swaying and lifts (if you're down for it)! I'm here to help you capture an engagement session that feels natural to you, so you can relax, play together and have fun. Not all of us are naturals in front of the camera, but with all the fun tactics that I mentioned earlier, it makes it easier to be a natural!
