Marihana + Cody's Engagement session
Just delivered this stunning Gallery from Marihana and Cody's Engagement session. These two were high school sweethearts from Northeast High School. Needless to say, they are an absolute hoot. We hiked at Platte River State Park with their fur baby. Oh, and we seriously got so lucky because the forecast leading up to their engagement session was going to be perfect! The morning of their engagement session it was sunshine! Literally perfect. Noon rolled around, and it started to rain. But we trusted the light rain in the forecast, and met up at Platte River State Park a little bit earlier than planned. I mean it was a light sprinkle all afternoon. Anytime with storms big or small, it usually means it gets dark earlier. However, if you can wait the storm out, the sky is usually at it's finest. When we did their engagement session in mid-November, oddly enough at this time of year, we're looking at doing sunset photos starting at close to 3:30pm, because typically sunsets around 5pm. Luckily, the rain was so light you can hardly tell it in the photos, and because we arrived a tad bit earlier, we didn't end up losing too much light. With overcast days, you will usually lose the golden light at sunset, but the light glows the two of them up so well. These two were literally glowing with laughter and excitement all throughout the session. Cannot wait for May 2022! Cheers to Marihana and Cody!
